Restless Rites is a first-person multitasking horror game where you become the caretaker of a cursed chapel while uncovering the terrible secret that slumbers beneath its foundations.
In Restless Rites you tend to an ancient place of worship on the outskirts of town, performing essential maintenance before sunrise (or you may suffer a fate similar to all previous keepers). You’ll clean floors, empty trash bins, maintain the graveyard and keep lights functioning while defending against grotesque creatures that emerge from the darkness. Every action depletes precious stamina and resources as you balance chores with survival.
The playtest features the tutorial and the first two days of gameplay, with you going about your chores, putting out an occasional fire and avoiding strange creatures that appear from the darkness. It’s a lot of fun, with lots to keep you busy and some entertainingly weird creatures that make an appearance (especially the wiggly bag).
