ReStory – Open Beta

ReStory is a narrative-driven shop management simulation game where you run your very own electronics repair shop in mid-2000s Japan.

In ReStory you are the new owner of a small electronics repair shop in Japan. Every day people come to you with a variety of broken electronics with hopes of you repairing them. These range from fairly simple Tamagotchi style virtual pets to legally distinct PlayStations and Walkman cassette players.

Some repairs just require disassembling the electronic device, cleaning up the parts and reassembling it again. Others may be trickier though and will require spare parts that you can source from the internet. A friendly delivery man drops off and picks up any packages, and there are various other locals to talk to too.

It’s a very wholesome and chilled out game that’s happy to let you potter about in your store repairing electronics. The electronics repairs are easily accessible, but nicely detailed and the various characters you chat to do a great job of making you feel like part of the city. If you fancy a little electronics repair simulation, ReStory is a great way to get your fix.
