Rhythm Storm is an eye-melting roguelike horde hell shooter with stunning vector-based graphics that pulse and move to the music.
In Rhythm Storm you feel like you’re having a firefight in a graphic equaliser. You take control of a little (fairly slow moving) tank and attempt to survive as waves of enemies attack you. As you progress you unlock upgrades (two at a time) that end up turning you into a bullet-spewing monstrosity.
The core gameplay of Rhythm Storm is pretty similar to most Vampire Survivors style horde hell games, but the rapid upgrade system, the spectacular visuals and the thumping soundtrack really elevate the experience. It’s an audio/visual extravaganza with some very addictive gameplay.
