Ripple Park is a metroidbrainia game where you’re lost in a vast, eerie labyrinth filled with pools and puzzles, inspired by poolcore aesthetics.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta, in Ripple Park secrets lie beneath calm water surfaces while traps and mechanisms hinder your progress. Unknown entities instill fear as you search for items and leverage creature behaviors to unravel puzzles, uncover your past, and escape. Each item features different functions while themed areas present diverse challenges.
Precise platforming mechanics empower fearless exploration despite the maze’s dangers. Some entities are friendly while others threaten – understanding them, fleeing, or exploiting them is your choice.There are no monsters in the current build, but there are still ways to die and the side-scrolling pixelated pool landscapes offer captivating visuals distinct from traditional 3D poolcore.
