Riptale is a super cool black, white and blood-splattered 2D action platformer in which you can create all manner of custom combos that fill the screen with the blood and guts of your enemies.
As well as looking very stylish, Riptale also features an innovative attack system that gets rid of the mindless button mashing seen in most action platformers in favor of a system that requires you to line up the enemy in your sights, then attack. Your attacks are powered by a customizable collection of gems which have a short cooldown period, so you must plan each attack carefully to make them as devastating as possible. You can purchase new gems and swap them out with other ones, allowing you to create your own unique combos that allow you to fight how you want to fight.
You’ll need some pretty badass moves too, as the stylish and expansive black and white world of Riptale is inhabited by mystical cultists and deadly dragons that are dying to rip you to shreds. It looks like a blast to play, with snazzy blood splattered visuals, an intense retro-inspired soundtrack and fast paced hack and slash action that requires some real thought from the player.
