Rising Thunder is a PC exclusive online fighting game head-developed by Radiant Entertainment in partnership with well-known Street Fighter expert Seth Killian.
Aside from its great visuals, Rising Thunder is also notable for it’s novel approach to combat. The developers are keen to strip back the initial learning curve for newcomers to the game. To do this they’ve removed all the multiple button commands required for special moves – so to pull off any special moves you simply have to press the corresponding button (or a single direction and a button). This means that Rising Thunder truly is a keyboard friendly fighting game – in fact Killian claims he actually prefers a keyboard when playing it.
Aside from the novel approach to special moves, Rising Thunder looks set to offer fast, flowing combat and Street Fighter-levels of depth for hardcore players. Certainly a better robotic fighter than Rise of the Robots anyway!
