Rival Gears is a very impressive looking new futuristic racing game designed from the ground up for mobile devices, in which players take part in illegal hot rod races for cash and for glory.
Set in a near-future where manually driven card have been banned in favor of more efficient driverless vehicles, frustrated with the lack of control, an underground movement of ‘Greasers’ has formed, who build their own hot rods and race them in high stakes 1 on 1 street races. What this means for the player is fast paced, futuristic racing with online matchmaking, extensive upgrades, a full single player campaign, dynamic events and leagues.
Considering it’s an iOS and Android game, Rival Gears looks fantastic, with high quality visuals whizzing by at ridiculous speeds. The cars have no wheels so you won’t be burning rubber, but if you do smell anything burning, it’ll probably be the processor in tour phone!
