Roadside Research is a hilariously chaotic co-op simulator where a group of extraterrestrial spies gather intel for a coming invasion by working at a gas station.
Playable solo or with up to three fellow aliens in co-op, in Roadside Research you balance mundane human tasks like restocking shelves and refueling vehicles with your true mission: scanning unsuspecting customers for valuable research data. Just don’t let your otherworldly behavior raise the suspicion meter, or government agents will reduce you to a puddle of goo!
By day, you maintain a perfectly normal gas station to attract more test subjects. By night, you upgrade both your alien technology and gas station facilities while planning tomorrow’s research activities. You can also customize your human disguise with amusingly awkward facial expressions that are “definitely normal human faces”.
It’s a delightfully silly concept that has plenty of opportunities for hilarity or in co-op. See you fare with your research – Earth’s fate depends on your ability to sell snacks and collect data!
