Robot Champions is a Robot Wars/BattleBots style robot arena combat game that allows players to smash, bash and flip their opponents in action packed remote controlled robot battles.
Currently in development by Prospect Games, Robot Champions is essentially a video game version of the Robot Wars/BattleBots TV shows. It will allow up to six players to do battle in local or online multiplayer and even a single-player story mode. More advanced robot building tools are planned for after the game launches, but until then there will be a nice selection of pre-made robots with lots of cosmetic customization options.
It’s a great looking game with robots sporting a nice variety of spinners, scoops, hammers and pneumatic flippers. There’s plenty of destruction and the dynamic arenas that are packed full of environmental hazards to deal with. Sign up now to join in the robot rumble!
