PC, PS4 and Xbox One owners can now sign up to Beta test Roller Champions – Ubisoft’s slick new futuristic multiplayer ballsport that plays like a blend of rollerblading and basketball.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Alpha sign up last year, Roller Champions sees teams of rollerbladers racing around brightly colored arenas and attempting to score goals. To score you need to get the ball and your team must maintain possession of it for an entire lap of the circuit, then dunk it into one of the goals littered around the circuit. The more laps you complete before scoring will earn you more points, but if you’re dispossessed before you score then you’ll end up with nothing!
Teamwork and passing is vital for keeping control of the ball and earning those coveted points. As you progress you’ll rise through the ranks, build your fame, unlock sponsors, progress to bigger arenas and unlock lots of customization options for your character.
