Rootman: Bodycam Horror Footage is a tense little bodycam footage style horror game where a cop makes a startling discovery while on a call.
Created for the Global Game Jam 2023, Rootman: Bodycam Horror Footage puts you in the shoes of a cop who has been called to investigate a disturbance at a rural house. After getting there it seems that there is nobody home, but you find a mysterious idol crafted out of roots and things start to get weird.
Taking just a few minutes to play through, Rootman: Bodycam Horror Footage delivers a short and intense horror experience. The visual design is superb and it does a great job of ramping up the horror in such a short playtime.
