Rubber Chicken Hero is a delightfully silly little Game Boy styled rhythm action game where you make two rubber chickens squawk along to Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
Created for the PotatOs Jam 4, Rubber Chicken Hero is essentially a very stripped down version of Guitar Hero with Game Boy styled visuals, two rubber chickens and a midi version of Bohemian Rhapsody. It only contains the one song and you simply tap the A and B button to make the corresponding chicken squawk along to it in time with the cues that slide from right to left.
Two rubber chickens “singing” along to a midi version of Bohemian Rhapsody sounds absolutely terrible, but it’s also pretty hilarious and it certainly a new and interesting way to experience the 45 year old classic. A simple, silly and pointless little slice of rhythm action that’s guaranteed to make you smile.
