Rushdown Revolt is a combo-focused platform fighting game with beautifully animated characters, highly optimized netcode and spectacle-filled one-on-one battles.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer when it was called Vortex Rising, Rushdown Revolt is a new platform fighter that has risen from the ashes of the now defunct Icons: Combat Arena. The gameplay is focused on combo-filled 1v1 combat, with 2v2 and 3v3 tag-team modes available and a Gauntlet Mode – which allows upto six players to congregate and face each other in 1v1 winner-stays-on matches.
It’s a pretty spectacular looking fighting game (especially for a platform fighter), with fast, flowing combat, vibrant backgrounds and stylish special moves and combos. Rushdown Revolt promises a blisteringly fast controller-to-screen speed of just 2 frames and the developer promises some pretty impressive netcode too, with extremely low latency.
