Rust is finally bringing its popular massively multiplayer survival sandbox gameplay to Playstation and Xbox, in the form of Rust: Console Edition and you now sign up for Beta!
It’s been on PC for a few years now but it looks like console owners are now worthy of Rust’s anarchic survival sandbox MMO gameplay. As with other sandbox survival games you’ll scavenge, hunt, craft and build all manner of objects, but what’s great about Rust is your interactions with other players. It’s a cruel and lawless place where trusting the wrong person can result in not just the loss of your life, but all your worldly possessions too. That’s the magic of Rust though and it’ll be interesting to see if console players are just as cruel and creative as PC players.
The Rust: Console Edition beta is due to start soon and requires you to sign up for the newsletter on the Rust website. The Beta will be for PS4 and Xbox One, but that should also mean that it’s playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S too.
