Alpha sign ups are now live for Salt 2, a beautiful looking sequel to Lavaboot’s Studios’ wonderfully chilled out open world seafaring survival adventure.
Salt 2 is an open world pirate survival game set across an infinite ocean filled with islands to explore, quests to complete, pirates to fight, merchants to trade with and ancient ruins to discover. As you travel the seas you’ll collect epic loot, hunt for food, craft upgrades, upgrade your ship and discover the many secrets the world has to offer. There’s no word on whether it’s multiplayer yet, but it’s likely as it was a feature that was added to the first game post-release.
In a year of so much misery it’ll be nice to return to the beautiful, chilled out world of Salt. The graphics look like a step up from the last game, while still retaining the sun-drenched low poly style that made it such a delight to explore. Sign up now for a chance to set sail early!
