Salt the Earth is a RTS where there’s no resource gathering or building construction – instead you focus only on strategy and commanding your units in battle.
Currently in development by Omnis Reactor Studios, Salt the Earth is a 1v1 multiplayer RTS that focuses on combat rather than resource management. It takes place in a fantasy setting and before each battle you can choose a loadout from 5 playable races and 49 unique customizable units. During matches there’s no resource gathering or building construction at all, so you can focus on tactics as you attempt to pummel the enemy into submission.
It’s an interesting take on the RTS genre which skips the long build up (where players would normally be constructing bases and forming armies) and jumps straight into the action. Perfect for when you want a quick hit of RTS action.
