Sauna 2000 is a wonderfully surreal PS1 styled Finnish sauna horror game where you try to prepare a sauna before you’re visited by an unwelcome guest at sunset.
There’s nothing more relaxing than a nice hot sauna, but you may not get much time to chill out in Sauna 2000, a surreal fusion of sauna simulation and horror with a touch of vaporwave. The game lures you into a false sense of security initially, with its bright colors, beautiful Finnish countryside vista and cheerful protagonist. You happily carry out the various tasks to get your sauna up and running (chop wood, fetch water, etc), but it’s not long before you notice an uninvited guest and things start to get very strange indeed.
The current build of Sauna 2000 was released for the Haunted PS1 Demo Disk (a collection of PS1 styled horror game demos) and takes around 10 minutes to play through initially. It is however, well worth playing through multiple times as there are multiple endings (at least 3), which take some pretty crazy twists. One might even allow you to relax and enjoy your sauna (for a while!)
It’s a fantastic game with a very unique setting and vibrant visuals that prove that you don’t need darkness and dimly lit corridors to scare people. It may not be the most relaxing sauna you ever have, but it sure will be the most memorable! Highly recommended.

this is an amazing game so much im thinking on saving money just to visit a traditional Finnish sauna, if you ever realize a full game of it, ill be glad too see it
