Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar is a dual character puzzle platforming adventure where you control a cat which can split into two quantum versions of itself.
Playable in single-player or two player co-op, in Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar you are a cat called Mittens who is planning to pull off a heist in a high security research facility. However, due to a mishap with one of the pieces of equipment you can now split into two quantum versions of yourself and move them around simultaneously (using the separate analog sticks). This comes in handy as you cooperate with yourself to solve puzzles and escape the facility.
The Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar demo takes around 45 minutes to play through and is a lot of fun. The dual-control character puzzles are cleverly designed, the control system works really well and the dialogue between Mittens and her hedgehog helper is entertaining. A real highlight is just the way Mittens moves though – the animation is excellent as she scampers the facility and her movements feel very cat-like. A fine feline adventure you won’t regret pouncing on.
