Season: A Letter to the Future is a jaw-droppingly beautiful narrative driven third person adventure where you set out to document your world before it ends.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the Beta sign up, Season: A Letter to the Future sees you leaving your hometown and documenting the world before it’s ended by a mysterious cataclysm. On your journey you’ll travel to interesting places on your bicycle, meet people, take pictures and record sounds, then paste them into your scrapbook. Along the way you’ll learn more about the world, its ecology and why it is ending.
The Season: A Letter to the Future demo sees you exploring your hometown and documenting it before you leave. You learn more about the town and and any pictures you take can be stuck in your scrapbook.
It would probably be better if the objective-based pictures were automatically placed in your scrapbook, but the free-form scrapbooking is a lot of fun and really makes you feel like you’re documenting your own personal journey. It’s a fascinating would and the visuals are absolutely stunning. You’ll really fall in love with Season: A Letter to the Future‘s beautiful doomed world. Highly recommended.
