Sirocco Thugs is a brutal first-person beat ’em up that puts players in the vengeful boots of Tugg DiMamma as he battles through Southern Italy’s criminal underworld.
The gameplay in Sirocco Thugs emphasizes brutal hand-to-hand combat enhanced by environmental weapons like lead pipes, shovels, and chains. Players can blend martial arts moves with improvised weaponry, creating devastating combo chains that reward skilled execution with health boosts. Players can also find and use firearms, though ammo is VERY limited so they’re best saved for tight situations..
The Sirocco Thugs demo is pretty short, but it’s worth playing through in hard mode after completing normal mode because there’s a better variety of enemies and some extra weapons. The combat is very fast paced, with a focus on aggression, making for a relentless combat experience from start to finish. Dazing enemies then kicking them into other enemies never gets old and there’s a nice selection of weapons to beat them up with. A beat ‘em up well worth picking up. Highly recommended,
