Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a beautiful and wholesome puzzle adventure where you use music to restore harmony to Moominvalley.
Based on the classic Tove Jansson Moomin stories, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley follows the adventure of Snufkin as he returns to Moominvalley after a Winter away. He soon finds that someone has erected signs and built hideous parks everywhere that disrupt the natural balance. He now needs to explore, meet some familiar faces and use his harmonica to help solve puzzles and bring harmony back to Moominvalley.
The Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley demo takes around 20 minutes to play through and takes place at the start of Snufkin’s adventure. There are some fun characters to meet and some puzzles to solve – nothing too taxing, but entertaining and allow you to use the harmonica in different ways.
You’d be forgiven for not expecting too much from a Moomins game, but Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley feels a little special. The artwork and atmosphere are superb and really immerse you in the Moomins world. Meanwhile the music-based puzzles are fun and it’s a real joy meeting each character. Highly Recommended.
