Something To Do With Love is a beautifully animated VHS-styled anthropomorphic animal dating sim in which you help a movie obsessed bachelor find love.
Although Something To Do With Love is populated by animal people, the conversations and locations you go to are grounded in reality. There’s a nice selection of characters to meet and chat with and four lovely animal ladies that you have a chance of going on a date with and getting intimate with – there are sex scenes, but it’s not R-rated (all the naughty bits are blurred out).
The writing is witty and the characters are interesting, but what really makes Something To Do With Love stand out is the fantastic animation and the retro VHS visual style. The whole thing looks like you’re watching a beautifully animated cartoon through the fuzzy haze of an old CRT TV and VHS player. It gives the game a charming and warm feel in a genre that can often feel pretty seedy. It’s shaping up to be a very well crafted dating sim that’s not just for furries!
