Source of Madness is a beautiful hand drawn side-scrolling action platformer that sees you collecting spells and using them to fight tentacle monsters in a physics-based Lovecraftian world.
In Source of Madness you take control of a mage who can unlock new powers depending on the accessories they wear. There’s a nice selection of powerful accessories to find, and you’ll really need them – as the beautifully drawn 2D Lovecraftian world is full of weird physics-based tentacle monsters to dispatch.
The current build of Source of Madness takes around 10 minutes to play through and really impresses with its stylish hand drawn artwork, Lovecraftian tentacle monsters and fun physics based interactions with the environment. The tentacle monsters are particularly enjoyable to fight, with you destroying them tentacle-by-tentacle using your magical powers. Highly recommended.
