Taking place in the same world as Static Dread: The Lighthouse, Static Dread: The Submarine looks like a very different style of adventure, but with similar Lovecraftian themes. Played in first person, you’ll navigate narrow corridors and failing systems while utilizing unique sonar mechanics to explore the ocean floor. Every ping might reveal salvation – or something ancient answering back from places unmapped by human hands.
It features a similar choice system as Static Dread: The Lighthouse, which reshapes your experience as crew members perish. Each death forces you to assume additional duties, stretching your capabilities thin as the crushing pressure mounts both inside and outside the hull.
