Stone House Orphanage is a short and very disturbing little retro styled first person horror game where you search an orphanage for some missing children.
Created for the Two-Minute Horror Jam, in Stone House Orphanage you are investigating reports of the disappearance of children from a local orphanage. When entering you’re greeted by a nun called Sister Maria, who is happy to answer your questions and allow you to look around the orphanage. She claims that the kids ran away, but she doesn’t seem like the most trustworthy of nuns…
It only takes a few minutes to play through Stone House Orphanage but it really leaves an impression. The retro styled visual work well, there’s a very tense, dread-filled atmosphere throughout and the ending is truly horrifying. Two minutes of terror well worth checking out.
