Streamline is an awesome looking new multiplayer action game built from the ground up to allow real-time interaction between streamers and their audience, with followers able to place bets, play mini-games, win rewards, change the rules of the game and even play alongside the streamer.
In Streamline broadcasters are able to quickly create a party from up to 15 of their viewers, then take them on in a variety of different game modes – such as a mode in which the broadcaster hunts down and eliminates the viewers. The rest of the viewers won’t feel left out though as they can place bets on different players, got to change the rules of the game, play mini games and win rewards and recognition.
It’s a great looking game, with a visual style reminiscent of Sunset Overdrive, and the many ways in which viewers can interact with streamers is stroke of genius. An impressive and ambitious project that looks set to tear down the barriers between broadcasters and their viewers.
