Street Fighter 6 will be holding an Open Beta later this month, but if you want to get a little practice in beforehand you can download and play the demo right now!
The Street Fighter 6 open Beta is due to start on May 19th (00:00 PDT) and will run until the end of May 21st on Xbox, Playstation and Steam. It will feature eight playable characters (Luke, Jamie, Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, Kimberly, Juri and Ken), six different stages and a whole host of different online and offline game modes.
If you can’t wait that long though, the demo is live now, which features offline play, two playable stages and two different characters (Ryu and Luke). It also features the World Tour mode, which allows you to create your own fighter and play through the first part of the story.
It’s shaping up to be a very good fighter indeed, with beautiful visuals, fluid combat and plenty of different game modes. It’s been seven years since the last Street Fighter game, but the wait really looks like it’s been worth it.
