Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel… HELP!! is a darkly humorous visual novel where your character ends up being sucked into a yandere visual novel he was playing and must now try to avoid being killed by his three yandere suitors.
In Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel… HELP!! your character really loves playing yandere visual novels. He’s just finished playing a particularly good one and even found all the different endings. However, when he wakes up the next day something is very wrong…
He’s woken up by an excitable younger brother (which is odd because he’s an only child), his hair is longer and a different color, his room is totally different and there seems to be a strange interface with words floating in front of his face. As you can guess, it turns out he’s trapped in a visual novel. That’s not the worst part though – it’s a yandere visual novel, with three different yandere romance interests who are very likely to murder him is he makes the wrong narrative choices. You’d better make your decisions carefully!
Although it is parodying visual novels, Stuck in a Yandere Visual Novel… HELP!! is very much a visual novel itself, so don’t expect too much in the way of interaction other than the occasional narrative choice. It’s a lot of fun though, with a great sense of humor and lots of great little touches that poke fun at visual novels and yandere tropes. The artwork is excellent and it’s a lot of fun getting to know all the oddball characters (even if a lot of them are likely to murder you!)
