Submerge is a fast paced multiplayer tactical survival game that blends the Hero Unit focus of DotA with the tactical fighting and movement of StarCraft.
Battles feature aquatic organisms fighting each other in a beautiful aquatic world to steal ‘life time’ points, with up to 16 players face off against each other and the last survivor being crowned the winner. Each player controls a small squad of units with unique abilities, chosen before the start of the battle, allowing you to craft a powerful squad of aquatic soldiers.
Still very early in development, Submerge is certainly an intriguing concept – A MOBA-esque game that doesn’t focus on team tactics. It’ll be a refreshing change, since MOBAs hit the scene, lone wolves haven’t really been catered for (and your team mates can’t shout at you when you screw up!)
