Subsiege is a great looking new real time tactics game in which up to 12 players do battle in epic underwater battles where their oxygen runs out with every breath.
In Subsiege players command a squad of powerful hand picked hero-like units, battling against sea monsters and other opponents in spectacle filled battles at the bottom of the deep blue sea. It blends MOBA-esque hero based team strategy with the squad based tactical warfare of Starcraft to create a very competitive and strategic experience.
Powerful opponents and deadly sea creatures aren’t the biggest danger in this underwater battlefield – it’s oxygen (or lack thereof). Each player’s oxygen is constantly depleting and you’ll die when it runs out, so your aim is to hunt down your opponents and steal theirs. The winners are the team that doesn’t suffocate to death in the depths of the icy cold sea. No pressure then!
Subsiege’s Unreal Engine-powered visuals certainly look fantastic and it looks set to back it up with strategic and attack-orientated gameplay where players literally fight until their last breath.
