Super 80s World is a stylish pixel art runner for mobile devices, where you run, jump, dive, flip, climb and slide through a nostalgia-filled 80s world on a quest to stop a madman with a power glove of doom from erasing the ‘80s from existence.
In Super 80s World you jump into the shoes of Dan Camaro, an ‘80s loving hero who travels back in time to save the ‘80s from Dr. Noid Wormster – an evil scientist who has plans to use his power glove of doom to destroy the decade forever. Along the way you’ll travel through lots of 80’s inspired environments, grab lots of collectables, fight enemies, listen to a cool synth soundtrack and deal with boss fights.
Runners are nothing new on mobile devices but Super 80s World is a pretty impressive one. There’s lots of variety in the actions you perform, the pixel artwork is excellent and the level design is a lot less linear than traditional runners. Super 80s World will be coming to iOS, Android and Switch, but at the moment testing is only on iOS. Also, the player that makes their way the furthest through the game by Midnight EST March 17th, 2019 will win a Nintendo Switch!
