Supraball is a super fun sports game that’s essentially first person stickman football in which every player is equipped with a high powered cannon to blast the ball around the arena (and hopefully into the oppositions goal).
Being a fast paced multiplayer football-based ball sport, Supraball is bound to draw comparisons to Rocket League, but it’s no clone, it’s quite different and it’s actually been in development for over 6 years now (and we covered the Alpha way back in 2014). It features light hearted but skilful gameplay as teams of 3 or 5 go up against each other in a variety of different arenas, attempting to score as many goals as possible before the end of the match. The characters are pretty agile, capable of boosting and double jumping around the arena, while the cannons allow you to catch, tackle, pass, volley and shoot the ball with a great amount of accuracy (you can even add spin to really pull off some mind boggling shots).
It’s a fun game that features bright, cheerful visuals and high speed ball sport that’s easy to pick up and play but hard to master. A little like Rocket League but with a little less chaos, a lot more accuracy and a bunch of maniacal stickmen who like to hurt each other. Well worth checking out for some high octane multiplayer ball blasting action.
