SYNCED is a Sci-Fi third person shooter where you can weaponize your enemies in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with nanobots.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Beta Sign Up, SYNCED is playable in single-player, competitive multiplier or co-op and sees you fighting for the resistance in a world filled with killer nanobots (Nanos). You’re vastly outnumbered, but thankfully you can sync up to the larger Nanos and get them to fight by your side.
The current SYNCED demo focuses on the Solo mode, featuring a tutorial, two solo missions and a competitive multiplayer mode. There are three playable characters (Runners) and four different Nano companions, each with their own unique playstyles. There’s also plenty of loot, weapons and upgrades to collect, which you’ll need to defeat the powerful tyrants at the end of each level.
It is clearly more geared towards multiplayer, but the solo demo does a great job of proving that SYNCED can also be a lot of fun in single player. The guns feel great (particularly the shotguns), there’s a nice variety in the environments and the ability to command your own Nano is very cool. The Nanos are not only great for drawing fire, but can do some serious damage to the hordes of attacking enemies too. A very impressive Sci-Fi shooter well worth syncing up with.
