Tactical Troops: Anthracite Shift is a very stylish hand drawn turn-based Sci-Fi tactical combat game where you take command of a small group of elite soldiers on a beautiful, but deadly alien planet.
Taking place in the year 2020, in Tactical Troops: Anthracite Shift you fight for control of Anthracite – a hostile alien planet that is a rich source of Galvaon, a natural mineral that can be used to power advanced teleportation devices. It features 1v1 online multiplayer and a 40 mission single-player campaign where you command a team of soldiers as they fight enemies in the beautiful hand drawn world.
Gameplay-wise Tactical Troops: Anthracite Shift seems quite similar to X-Com, with turn based tactical combat and the ability to use the overwatch technique. There are some significant differences though – such as the gridless movement system, manual aiming and the ability to teleport (not only your units, but your bullets and grenades too).
