Tactichord: Glam Strategy is a turn-based tactics game set in 1990s America where aspiring bassist Diane Eason and her metalhead friends battle through high school life by converting haters into fans with the power of rock.
In Tactichord: Glam Strategy you use melee performances to win over non-believers, building heat resources that unlock massive point bonuses and coveted S+ ranks. Each band member has unique power moves like the bassist’s sonic onslaught or the drummer’s enemy-hurling ability that help you strategically convert crowds while managing limited action points per turn. After clearing all encounters in a level, you’ll create a music video highlight reel set to the lyrics and riffs you selected during battles. Dialog choices throughout the story let you support or antagonize bandmates, with decisions potentially deepening friendships or tearing the band apart.
Featuring original music by Chris Laney of Pretty Maids with over twelve headbanging tracks performed live, you’ll customize performances through instrument swaps, audio effect pedals, and increasingly wild costumes. Sign up to rock out with the playtest.
