TAMASHIKA is a very fast paced psychedelic Post Void style corridor shooter FPS set within a recursive labyrinth of your mind.
With fast paced run ‘n gun gameplay and stylish hand drawn artwork, TAMASHIKA s a corridor shooter in a similar vein as Post Void. There are some crucial differences though, perhaps the most obvious being that you can deflect bullets and defend melee attacks by using timing-based attacks with the knife in your left hand. Also, once you get past the initial tutorial section, there are no checkpoints, no unlocks and no cutscenes – it’s all just about player skill as you fight your way through a single level that changes everyday.
Featuring a tutorial stage and a main level, the TAMASHIKA demo is fairly short, but will take a long time to beat as it’s very tough and there are no checkpoints in the main level. The fast paced gameplay, the vibrant visuals and the incredible soundtrack make for a very euphoric experience (even while dying multiple times), and you keep coming back to it for one more go (or until your eyes start to bleed). It makes for a fantastic addition to the corridor shooter genre. Highly recommended.
