Tank Brawl 2 is an intense twin-stick tank shooter with tight controls, snazzy 3D visuals and carnage-filled fast paced arcade combat.
Previously featured on Alpha Beta Gamer during the closed Alpha sign up, Tank Brawl 2 is an action packed tank blasting twin-stick shooter that promises a campaign more that will inculde at lease “100 Wow Moments”. These Wow Moments sound pretty interesting and include fourth wall breaking events such as enemies firing rockets at the in-game camera or the tutorial guy attempting to kill you.
Unfortunately the current build of Tank Brawl 2 features the survival mode, not the campaign mode so there aren’t any Wow Moments, but it does give a taster of the gameplay, which is a hell of a lot of fun. The demo features three playable tanks (two of which are unlockable) and four co-drivers (two of which are unlockable) who give you unique perks during the match, such as increased speed or health recovery.
The wave based tank blasting combat is simple, but lots of fun, with you constantly having to dodge projectiles and infantry as you fight for your survival. The normal tank (T90) and the gattling tank (Terminator) can do some serious damage and your choice of copilots will have a dramatic effect on your success too (Barta the repairman is a good first choice).
It may just be a small slice of what will be on offer in the full game, but even in its current survival mode form Tank Brawl 2 is great fun, with action packed twin-stick combat packed full of glorious tank-blasting carnage. See how long you can last and climb the online leaderboard!
