Terminus is a tense and atmospheric Silent Hill inspired PS1 styled survival horror adventure set in a creepy decaying motel.
In Terminus you take control of an unnamed protagonist as he makes his way through the ruins of a motel that’s infested with freaky monsters. As you explore you’ll scavenge ammo, search for clues, solve puzzles and fight monsters, with an aim of escaping in one piece.
It is very much unfinished, with very little in the way of narrative and plenty of rough edges, but Terminus has a lot of potential. It really nails the surreal horror vibe of the Silent Hill games, there are some interesting puzzles and some of the monsters are very freaky (the one in the kitchen especially). The retro PS1 styled aesthetics look fantastic and combine with the fixed camera angles to transport you back to the golden era of survival horror. A very freaky motel well worth checking into.
