Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is an incredibly gory retro side-scrolling beat ‘em up based on the popular Terrifier movie franchise.
In Terrifier: The ARTcade Game you take control of Art and three other pals as they go on a bloody rampage through the city streets. The core gameplay is very much a traditional old school beat ‘em up, with you able to punch, run, jump, use special abilities and weapons. Each character also has their own execution move for a little extra carnage.
It’s not the most sophisticated of beat ‘em ups, but the pixel art animation and massive levels of gore make for an entertaining game. Hopefully more moves/weapons will be added in the full game, but it’s off to a good start and is perfect for dropping in for some blood splattered retro beat ‘em up carnage.
