The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is a Taiwanese survival horror adventure where you investigate a ghost story on a university campus.
A sequel to the well received original, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is an adaptation of a Taiwanese movie called The Bridge Curse 2: Ritual. The game takes place in Wen Hua University and will follow multiple characters as they unravel a mystery about a student who disappeared after exiting an elevator.
The demo follows the story of a young journalist who sneaks into the university in search of some answers (and a VHS tape of the incident). It blends stealth and puzzle solving gameplay, and also has an intense monster escape sequence.
The conversations are a little slow-paced and overlong, and you’ll see a certain twist coming from a mile off, but there issues aside, it’s a promising game. The stealth sections are satisfyingly intense, the visuals are impressive and the characters are entertaining (particularly the security guard). A super spooky higher learning adventure.
