The Crew 2 is now in Open Beta on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, so now everyone can hop into their cars, motorbikes, boats and planes for some open world racing fun.
While the original The Crew game was a fun open world racer, it didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but it looks like Ubisoft are pulling out all the stops with The Crew 2 by offering more of everything – and most interestingly, more types of vehicles. Not content with offering a selection of cars that range from an F1 style racer to a Fiat Abarth Monster Truck, you can also ride motorbikes, race powerboats and swoop through the skies in planes.
The Crew 2 Open Beta features a wide selection of vehicles spread across eight different race types that you can discover while driving in Freedrive – Aerobatics, Drift, Jetsprint, Motocross, Powerboat, Rally Raid, Street Racing and Touring Car Racing. You’ll be able to play in single player or in online co-op, though you’ll need PS+ or Xbox Live Gold to play online on the PS4 or Xbox One.
The Open Beta will be live until 1am PT June 24th and if you register here and reach fame level 2 during play you’ll have a chance to win a real Harley-Davidson Iron 833 motorcycle. Join in now for some open world racing where everywhere is a racetrack.
