The Dungeon Beneath is a single-player tactical roguelike take on the autobattler genre, where you manage your party as they battle their way down through a monster-filled dungeon.
In The Dungeon Beneath you’ll be able to choose from five uniquely skilled heroes and dozens of different characters to form your team then fight your way down through an increasingly challenging procedurally generated dungeon. Before each battle you can tactically position each character on the battlefield and as you descend you’ll be able to level up characters and even swap them out at campfires. Each character can be equipped with up to three items that grant stat bonuses and abilities and you’ll even unlock rare artefacts that can have an effect on your entire team.
It’s a great looking game with excellent pixel art animation, endlessly replayable dungeons and gameplay that seems to deliver a more accessible take on the autobattler genre while still retaining plenty of strategic depth. Sign up for the Beta to see how you fare in it’s monster-filled dungeons.
