The Graveyard Shift – Game Jam Build Download

The Graveyard Shift is a freaky little first person horror game where you discover a dark secret as you work the night shift at a convenience store.

Created for the Haunted PS1 Wretched Weekend game jam by Neurobrew (creator of KILLER BEES), is a short and strange PS1 styled horror game where you make a dark discovery while working the night shift in a convenience store. You start the game just doing a normal shift at the store, with you moving boxes to the entrance to be collected, but soon something bad appears to have happened to your colleague and you start to investigate.

Taking around 15 minutes to play through, The Graveyard Shift does feel a little rough around the edges (perhaps due to the time constraints of the jam) and stacking the boxes at the beginning really isn’t fun, but it shows a lot of promise. The premise is very interesting, the retro visuals work well and the soundtrack is fantastic. It’s certainly a very eventful shift at the convenience store!
