In The House Before you’ll explore intricate wounds etched into your skin long before birth while shapeless haunts dwelling within despise you for crimes committed eons ago. Blending visual novel elements with adventure mechanics and simple mini-games, it delivers a very unique eldritch horror experience. You’ll heal old wounds, attempt to be a good house, suffer through existential dread, and ultimately procreate to become something better than what came before.
It’s a VERY weird game, and initially a little confusing, but it’s one hell of a ride. The artwork is superb and the premise of being a house has great foundations. Time to get your house in order!
