The Many Pieces Of Mr. Coo is a beautifully animated and surrealist click graphic adventure where an odd little man finds himself trapped in a nonsensical land.
In The Many Pieces Of Mr. Coo the titular Mr. Coo has lost his pieces in a surreal world that seems to represent real issues that are affecting Mr. Coo’s life. You now need to make your way through the world, solve puzzles and find poor Mr. Coo’s pieces.
Each scene in the game is a standalone puzzle, where you need to click on objects in the environment to interact with them. A little like in the Samorost games, the trick is to figure out in what order to interact with them, often with surprising results.
The demo build of The Many Pieces Of Mr. Coo is pretty short but it’s a memorable experience and beautifully animated. There’s an interesting mix of animation styles and it’s a real joy figuring out the twisted logic of its strange cartoony world. A point and click adventure packed full of charm, creativity and oddity.
