The Velo Cet looks set to deliver a fun looking fusion of fitness and gaming as you hook your iOS or Android device up to a Bluetooth Smart Trainer enabled exercise bike and pedal to race old fashioned race cars around tracks.
Aiming to make exercise entertaining, The Velo Cet looks set to transform your exercise bike ride into an open-wheel car racing game. In the game you’ll be able to steer your vehicle and use the speed of your pedalling to control the speed of your car. There are multiple maps and routes to race around, each of which will store the ghosts of your all-time best, recent best and last race to race against. It also features multiplayer race mode and an arena battle mode.
The problem with most Smart Trainer programs for exercise bikes is that they’re generally just glorified walking simulators that allow you to look at pretty scenery as you cycle.
