There is No Light 616 is essentially a prologue or extended demo for There is No Light, and features three large locations to explore, a challenging boss battle and an arena mode to test your fighting skills in.
In the game you take on the role of a father whose child has been taken by the Church of the Great Hand. You now set out though the labyrinthine post-apocalyptic underworld in search of your son and those who took him. Combat is tactical and skill-based, with you managing your stamina bar and being able to switch between three unique weapons. Along the way your actions and dialogue choices will aid or hinder those that you meet and have an impact on the world around you.
It’s shaping up to be a fantastic game with high quality pixel art animation, a fascinating world to explore, challenging combat and wonderfully grotesque monsters to slay (or even befriend).
