Third Omen is an old school third person action adventure where you take control of a primordial force in human form and wreak vengeance on the demons of your past.
In Third Omen you take control of Eve, a primordial force who will have to choose whether to avenge the evil that was done to her by eviscerating her foes or to keep the balance. Her quest for vengeance may be successful, but it may also lead to total annihilation (which probably isn’t a good thing).
The gameplay in Third Omen promises to feature RPG elements (including earning new powers that will teach you more about yourself) and a combat system that focuses on precision and timing. It also aims to focus on true psychological horror, with ghoulish monsters and an atmosphere that really get under your skin, rather than just cheap jump scares.
It’s still early in development and the visuals are still pretty rough, but Third Omen shows promise. The narrative is intriguing, the monster design is well done and there’s a welcome Soulsian vibe to the game word. Sign up for the Beta to see if you can slay your demons or accept them.
