In Time To Wake Up, a mysterious voice fascinated by your eyes guides you through surreal reimaginings of school environments – dim libraries, twisted playgrounds, and bathrooms that fold in on themselves. Each blink transforms the space, resetting moving elements, flooding entire rooms, or rotating architecture in ways that turn familiar places into disorienting puzzles. The mechanic is deceptively simple but creates layered spatial challenges that force you to think carefully about when and where you shut your eyes.
The journey through distorted childhood spaces blends gentle nostalgia with creeping unease, as the line between comforting memory and unsettling dream dissolves with every transformation. The dialogue could do with a bit of work but the environmental design is superb. Don’t sleep on this one!
