TimeSplitters Rewind is an extraordinary fan project that transforms the TimeSplitters trilogy into one seamless experience.
Unlike traditional remakes, TimeSplitters Rewind ambitiously integrates maps, modes, challenges, and story content from all three original games into a single unified package. The initial launch features a curated selection of classic and new content, with plans to eventually encompass the entire trilogy.
Over ten years, nearly 200 contributors – ranging from hobbyists to AAA developers – have volunteered thousands of hours to create TimeSplitters Rewind. It’s still not finished (this is an early access release), but it’s already pretty polished and easily the best way to experience TimeSplitters.
It’s got a huge amount of content with lots of single and multiplayer modes and maps. The gameplay feels great too, with all the classic weapons and very satisfying headshots. Highly recommended.
